How to Replace Your Garmin Vivoactive 3 Band

Like many other smartwatch brands, the Garmin Vivoactive 3 uses a simple pin system to attach and remove watch bands. This makes swapping your strap quick and easy. Just follow the steps below to replace your old band with a new one.

Removing the Old Vivoactive 3 Band

1. Turn your watch over so the back is facing up.
2. Locate the small pin on the strap connector.
3. Slide the pin inward to release that side of the band from the watch.
4. Repeat the same process on the other side to completely remove the strap.
   
    
   

Attaching the New Vivoactive 3 Band

1. Take your new band and insert the pin on one side into the designated hole on the watch.
2. Hold the pin pressed inward while positioning the other side of the band into place.
3. Release the pin so it locks securely.
4. Repeat for the other strap piece.
