Replacing a Samsung Galaxy Watch Band

If you own the Samsung Galaxy Watch (42mm or 46mm), follow the steps below to change your strap.

Removing the old Galaxy Watch band
The Galaxy Watch uses the same quick-release pin system as the Samsung Gear S3. To remove the strap, follow the Gear S3 instructions in the next section.

Attaching the new Galaxy Watch band

1. Place the watch face down so the back is facing up.

2. Insert the pin into one end of the strap.

3. Push the pin fully into the slot.

4. Attach one side of the band to the watch.

5. Once that side is secure, carefully attach the other side.

6. Check that both sides are firmly in place — then enjoy your brand-new Galaxy Watch band!

Replacing a Samsung Gear S3 Band

This method works for the following models:

• Samsung Gear S3

• Samsung Gear S3 Frontier

• Samsung Gear S3 Classic

And also for:

• Samsung Gear Sport

Removing the old Gear S3 band

1. Turn the watch over so the back faces up.

2. Slide the quick-release pin gently to the side — no tools needed.

3. Carefully pull the strap away from the watch on the side where you moved the pin.

4. Repeat for the other side to fully remove the band.

Attaching the new Gear S3 band

1. Make sure you have the correct strap for each side of the watch.

2. Insert the pin on one side of the strap into the slot.

3. Once that side is secure, attach the other side and lock the pin in place.

4. Double-check that the band is securely attached before wearing.
